Umansky Bass Tones was created to replicate different tones by Jacob Umansky.

Dingwall; Darkglass; Neural DSP artist, and session bassist for bands such as: Intervals,

The Faceless and Nick Johnston among others.

Characteristics:

● Get some bass tones from one of modern metal's most versatile bassists Jacob

Umansky. Bassist, teacher and session player. Barklee student.

Based on:

Submission Audio Jacob Umansky VST. You will find different presets replicated from its

own Kontakt library. These range from a clean and versatile distortion to a brutal one with a

completely different EQ range than what you'll find in our Darkglass and 4-block

(SansAmp) preset packs.

● Features 3 snapshots, crafted and mixed with factory cabs.

CLEAN: Balanced and versatile distortion with controlled low end. It can be used for any

type of metal.

GRIT: Distortion adjusted to retain definition. Based on Jacob's studio sound.

HEAVY: raw, aggressive distortion with a “fuzzy” sound.

Bundle Contains:

• 1 preset (3 snapshots) for easy access so you can test and compare each other. Created

from the DI of my bass.

• 1 preset (3 snapshots) created from the DI of the same Jacob Umansky VST.

• Bass IRs captured from Darkglass Parallax (vst).

• IR created by us so that you highlight the low end automatically without using blocks for

compression or equalization (path B).
